1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you use Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your profile information from those providers.

Brand & Query Data: You provide brand names, domains, and search queries to monitor. This data is used solely to deliver our service.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the Vizara service
  • To monitor AI engines on your behalf and deliver visibility insights
  • To send transactional emails (alerts, password resets, team invitations)
  • To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns
  • To process payments through our payment provider (Stripe)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted on infrastructure with SOC-2 type II certification. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Webhook payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256. We perform regular security audits and dependency scanning.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — Application hosting.
  • Neon — Database hosting.

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days, except where required by law. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Our analytics are privacy-focused and do not track individual users.
